Tour 01:

Half day city sightseeing Tour ( 3 hrs.)

The Half day Dhaka City Sightseeing Tour will cover the following areas depending upon the availability of time:
· The National Parliament Building.
· Liberation war Museum.
· Curzon Hall (Dhaka University Campus).
· Central Shaheed Minar Dhakeswari Temple.
· Sadarghat River Terminal.
· Lalbagh Fort or Ahsan Manjil (king's palace), any one of these two.

To operate this trip we need a minimum of eight adults.

Price per person: Adult: $40 and Child:$15

Tour 02:

Full Day City sightseeing ( 6 hrs.)

The first half day tour will be same as Tour 01 and will cover the places described on that tour program. After complete this tour program, lunch will be served on a standard restaurant inside of the City. After lunch tour will start for outside the city and for this next half day we'll visit either Sonargaon - The Ancient Capital of Bengal which is 27 km. east from Dhaka or The National Martyr's Monument at Saver which is 26 km west from Dhaka. After complete visiting the site we'll return to Dhaka in the afternoon.

To operate this trip we need a minimum of eight adults.

Tour 03:

Day long Sightseeing & River Cruising ( 08 hrs)

The first half day tour will be same as Tour 01 and will cover the places described on that tour program. Then transfer to our boat at Narayanganj / Demra. Immediately the Cruising will begin and Lunch will be served. You can visit one traditional village on way to see village people's lifestyle with a closer look. Afternoon snacks & tea / coffee will be served on boat. After 03 hours River Cruising on the mighty Meghna / Sitalakhya River return to Narayanganj / Demra ghat and then drive back to Dhaka.

To operate this trip we need a minimum of eight adults.

Tour 04:

Full Day River Cruising ( 08 hrs)

Transfer to Narayanganj / Demra ghat . It is an one-hour drive from Dhaka. Board our boat for cruise on Meghna/Sitalakhya River. We will serve snacks and tea/coffee upon boarding. You can visit one traditional village on way to see villager people's lifestyle with a closer look. You can also swim in the river. Please ask the guide for arranging this. Lunch will be served at 13:00 hour. Lunch menu includes the Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Fried, Mixed Vegetable Bhajee, Green Salad, Fish / Veg. Chop, Seasonal fruit, Sweet and Soft Drinks. On way back we shall serve you tea/coffee with Biscuits. After 06 hours cruise on Meghna / Sitalakhya River back to Dhaka.

To operate this trip we need a minimum of twelve adults.

Tour 05:

Evening River Cruise with Bar-b-q dinner ( 5 hrs)

This trip will begin around 16:00. After pick-up, drive to Demra and board the boat "S. B. Ruposhi". Immediately, the cruising on the Shitalakhya River will begin. After about 15-20 minutes cruising the boat will arrive Noapara village and stop. Here you may go to watch the weaving of the famous Jamdanee, a special kind of textile unique in Bangladesh. It will be possible for you to buy pieces of Jamdanee cloths here as a souvenir.

After that, the cruising will continue and we shall serve tea /coffee with cookies. After cruising for an hour the boat will anchor at a nice place for you to enjoy the evening or take a swim in the river. At around 19:30 dinner will be served. We provide mineral water on the boat but soft drinks will be available on payment. Around 20:00 the boat will start it's return journey.

You will cruise back to Demra at around 21:30 and from here drive back to Dhaka.

Tour 06:

Overnight River Cruise ( 8 hrs)

During the Monsoon season we offer you a special overnight river cruise with the great service and scrumptious food. Come and enjoy this special trip on any weekend of your choice.

THURSDAY: Leave Dhaka Sheraton Hotel at 5 PM and drive to our boat at Demra/Narayangonj (15 km). After all guests have boarded, the boat shall begin cruising. After a couple of hours the boat will anchor at a convenient place for the overnight stay. If you feel like a refreshing swim, this is your chance!

FRIDAY: In the morning you can relax, enjoy another swim or go ashore to visit some village or market. Late in the afternoon the boat will cruise back to Naryangonj/Demra and from there we will transfer you to Dhaka Sheraton Hotel.

Tour 07:

Day long Excursion Trip to Sonargaon & Mainamati ( 08 hrs.)

Early in the morning leave Dhaka around 08:00a.m, with a reserved transport for Mainamati - The archeological site bearing old Buddhist civilization. This journey will take about 2 and half hours. Upon arrival will offer you tea at any local restaurant. Then we'll enjoy the magnificent beauty of ruin of ancient (7th 12th centuries) Buddhist Civilization at Mainamoti which includes Shalban Bihara, Itakhola Mura, Lalmai Hill. And after that Mainamoti Museum where you can see many preserved excavated findings from this place. Lunch will be offered at the cafeteria of BARD or a local restaurant. After lunch you will go to visit an old Hindu temple situated at the southern end of the city, before driving back to Dhaka. On the way back, we'll will stop at Sonargaon, the old capital of Bengal for sightseeing. During the 16th and 17th century, this was the capital of Bengal. You can also visit the folklore museum at Sonargaon. After visit Sonagaon we'll drive back to Dhaka in the afternoon at around 18:00.

Tour 08:

Day long Excursion Trip to Pottery Village ( 08 hrs.)

This trip will begin early in the morning at around 08:00, when our guide will come and pick you up from our usual pick-up points or your nominated place with a reserved transport. Immediately you will drive to Savar (around 35 km away from Dhaka). Upon arrival, you will visit the National Martyr's Monument. After that, your accompanied guide will take you to a nearby place called Dhamrai.

This place is famous for brass artisans. The accompanied guide will take you to one of the places where you will see the artisans at work. Also you can visit the "Rath", which is similar to the Roman Chariot. During the Bengali month of "Ashar", a big festival called "Ratha Jatra" takes place here in Dhamrai. After this you will go to have some snacks at the Joy Restaurant situated just in front of the monument, before going to the famous pottery village in Kakran. To reach this village you will have to leave the vehicle at Nayarhat and take a small ride by boat for about 20-30 minutes. The accompanied guide will make all the arrangements. Earlier, when there was widespread use of pots & utensils made from the clay, most of the people of this village used to be potters. Now you will see that only few families are still trying to hold this profession for their living. After spending some time in this village, you will come back to the vehicle, and drive back. You will be arriving in Dhaka at around 17:00.

Responsibility and Conditions:

Safari Plus will be responsible for the operation of the tours and excursions as mentioned in our program under the normal situation. So, for personal accident, sickness, loss of baggage during the tour, delay of Bus, any political problem, any sudden weather changes, creating unusual situation to conduct this tour, any road accident or river / sea accident etc.; Safari Plus, shall not be responsible on the contrary will extend all possible assistance in overcoming those problems. But the guests must pay any extra cost incurred due to these problems.
